Earning my Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from California State University, Chico, my ambition was to pursue a career as a small animal emergency Veterinarian. I immersed myself in agriculture and emergency veterinary medicine, serving as an Emergency Veterinary Technician for nearly six years before shifting gears into the field of marketing. My background in veterinary medicine has equipped me with the skills to educate clients, manage crises, and work collaboratively within fast-paced environments, facilitating a smooth transition into this new career path. These are my two dogs, Jessie on the left, and Riley on the right. Jessie is a five year old Labrador Retriever x Great Pyrenees. Riley was a nine year old Pt Bull; she passed away July of 2023 from cancer. Jessie loves to cuddle and get pets from all the humans. She is a sweetheart, but she could care less about other animals. We always say she's more of a human's dog, rather than a dog's dog.

I was the first of my entire family to move away from Southern California and attend college. I moved 9 hours away to the small town of Chico, CA to attend California State University, Chico and pursue a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. I threw myself into the worlds of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. During my time in college, I competed in two sports: Crew and Waterski. I competed as a lightweight rower and coxswain on the collegiate crew team where I helped win Chico State's first gold trophy at Nationals (pictured). I met my now boyfriend on the team my freshmen year and we have been together since, just over six years now. I then spent the remainder of my years competing on the collegiate waterski team.
